One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

A little explanation is in order... I got the wife a bunch of SLK's to get her into kites. The trouble is, I got her what are probably best defined as gimmick kites. Don't get me wrong, she loves them, but due to their construction they aren't very "bag friendly". She is now the proud owner of a Pop Kan, Prism Flip kite, EO6, Atom, a Triad, a Premier Astrostar and a couple of foils. (Yes, I do do a little overboard!) Now, my problem is transporting them safely and storing them. What are other flyers using to store/transport these kites? I got her one of the HQ bags but of course these kites don't fit in that. I was thinking about maybe something like a dyna-kite bag, but I really am not sure what would work best...

Any suggestions?

I was out looking for a small diameter 4' long bag for carrying some poles and SLK's the other night. I couldn't find one, but did see some super deals on snowboard bags at various stores ranging from about $16-$35. The extra width of these bags might just support your needs.

I purchased a couple of bag similar to this for my Rainbow Stunt Kites

Try a Google search for:      Dragon Case 25" X 23.5"

The EO Atom and the Flip's rotor will slip into the clamshell sleeve for the EO6, that's how I carry them together.

Some good suggestions. I think the Dragon Case might be a little small as the long axis on the EO6 is close to 3'

Wow, it never even occurred to me to try that! Looks like the Pop kan will fit, too. Hmmm...

Standard is 170 x 29 x 18cm. Long is 187 x 37 x 18cm. Both are wider in the middle and tapered at each end.

MLD bags makes different sized dynakite/dragon bags......I have a big one (big enough to take the EO and flips) as well as the smaller size.....
easy enough to search for them online......not certain if Steve still orders from Rudy.....

very glad that she is out there with you! most of the kite fliers out there spouses call themselves "kite widows"........
