Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Was on sale here I guess, or the clerk liked me, anyway I walked out with ours for $24 and change. A pretty nice village, matching toy stores/castles, a bunch of different Boardwalk type stores, Victorian houses & buildings, some animated ones, street light poles, nice lighting systems to go with them all, even mini spot lights to add ambience, just a bunch of stuff. You could easily bust your kite fund putting a cool village together.

I saw that Lowe's is doing 1/2 off on Christmas stuff now, so i went to check it out.
I walked out with the store display for only $6.00

SCORE!

I never thought i'd be the owner of my own kite store.  Grin

Found mine wrapped up under the Christmas tree.  My wife is wonderful.  (guess it didn't hurt that I went and found the last one on sale for $11.00 and gave it to her to wrap)

This has probably been the biggest single month of new kite shops popping up around the country in years!

I love a deal so I'm pretty happy with my price and I love having my own shop.  Never the less I would have been grinning ear to ear even at full price.
