One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

it's a few miles from the strip, but given some lead time, transportation can usually be arranged with one of us.

i made a google map showing the relative distance between the strip and the park.

jim, the suncoast is on the other side of town from the silverbowl. the closest hotel/casino/resort is either sunset station, or sam's town. the good news is, even though it's on the other side of town, it's not really all that far. it's maybe a 30 minute drive. chilese would know, he lives over there on the northwest side and would be able to advise the best route.

No problem.  What time to folks usually start showing up?

Another great "Friday Night Fly"
Thanks Guys!!

My Phantom 1.5 looked sooo nice when the sun set, and even better after the lights went out...
No picture could show how sweet it looked in the white clouds of a Vegas Night.   Smiley
(having to resize it down to 100kb didn't help either.  Wink)

We were at the park until 11 PM when the lights were turned off. However, the last 90 minutes was sitting and talking after spending the evening on SULs and ULs with about 30 minutes spent on Mark's new Mongoose.

Sweet flying kite to be sure.

We'll look forward to your first visit, whenever that is.  Smiley
