Aviasports newer center tee is rubber as well, Ramlal uses those on some of the Transfers but then it's getting hard to find anything from Avia.
Kitehouse uses a rubber center T. (I think its made by HQ) It will take a .285 ferrule.

It's for use on a V-Masque.
Masques have the bridle running forward under the C Tee.
It is for bridle clearance in this case, although I am sure there are designers who know what other effects it would have on a kite.
I don't think I'll need to have anything custom made. It's not that big of a deal. It would just be nice to have a little more choice in center tees. Something we don't have at the moment..
I'm curious on the advantages of the longer T shank. Aerodynamic? Mechanical? Aesthetic? It's French?
You can have T's custom made also...
