One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

Whew, not like that, cold, rain, wind but probably didn't get above high 20's. Seems to be letting up now. Hopefully the lull is headed your way.

I don't mean to rub it in, but ... Wink

Winds should be between 3-13 mph for the next few days up here on SW Ontario. I feel your pain though. Back in September there was nothing worth flying in.

Looks like very low teens for us tomorrow with some morning showers. Probably another good day to be in the wind!

Did a little flying around 9:30-10:00 this morning in Roseville, after a couple of scarey gust of up to 20+ I decided to quit before I broke something.

I've been told the wind average here is 9 mph, so I shouldn't have any problems flying kites.

I guess I could have been a little more detailed...
Forcast shows morning winds (low teens)around eleventeen-twelveteen (great for the foils!) tapering off to around 4-5 in the afternoon. Should be able to get most of my bag in the air... if I can get the wife motivated before lunch!

That's perfect wind for a vented Rev.

actually zeke, this time of year it's usually pretty low. today was a bit out of character.

our friday night fly was great though. we flew everything from zero wind stuff up to debating getting out vented kites, but we never pulled out the vents in the end.

we had 4 people flying dualies, 3 rev fliers flying together as a team, and one single liner on kevlar  Huh, as well as the usual chattering cheering section.

a good time was had by all.
