Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

i too have eyed that one many times. very nice looking kite, and what looks like a great plan. too bad i don't read german.
i really like how it actually looks like a manta.

the focus manta causes me serious kite lust though how it floats and glides just like a real manta.

Yes, it is in German.  However there is a thing on Google that will translate PDF files for you.

Problem is that when you try to print it out.....well, there is a tad of work involved....

I am in the process of editing it right now.  It takes a bit of time.  (Read "bit" as "lot")

Probably there is no need for the translation, as long as there are pictures, and there are...   Embarrassed   Wink

Hi Chris (and all other Manta lovers  Smiley  )

Thank you for your email! I will answer here on GWTW as other kitefriends could be interested too.
Happy to hear, that you like the Manta! It is a great kite for light winds and loves a light breeze.

Sorry, but I don’t build kites for cash. Kiteflying is “just” a hobby for me. A serious hobby, yes, but still a hobby. I build kites only for myself or to swap with kites from other kitebuilders.

Beside of this, I offered HQ / Invento the Manta and they are thinking about a production for 2010. They didn’t reach a decision yet, but – let us give them a bit of time.
If HQ isn’t interested, maybe I find another producer – let us see…

Another possibility: a workshop. I offered a Manta workshop in Copenhagen and we had a lot of fun. With a bit of experience, you can easily build a Manta in one day – its not rocketscience  Cool

Greetings from Denmark
Ralf
