Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Ok so they aren't kites, but no doubt there would be some neat stuff

Mr. Lachat’s collection – which he keeps in a two-bay garage-barn, an attic and a large room in his home – comprises well over 600 completed planes (some made of pine and dating back to the World War II era) and about 500 more that he bought but never assembled. Those are still in the original boxes but the seals have been broken. “I had to look inside to make sure they had all the parts he explained.

I use to work with Dick Sarpolus at J & J Industries in New Jersey back in the early 1970's.  I am still in touch with Dick, and I would love to attend this sale to search for any kits my him or J & J...LOL
