Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Ron Graziano has generously donated a new Machine to the Treasure Island Sport Kite Championships.

Full details on the raffle and the exclusive panel layout are available here:
http://www.easternleague.net/TISKC/Machine.html

In brief, tickets are $20, only 50 are available, and an individual can purchase no more than 5.

As with the Saber II raffle, no one is profiting from this event. Ron, as is his custom, is freely donating the kite, and all funds raised go directly to the costs of the competition.

Many thanks to Ron for donating the kite, to GWTW for allowing us to publicize the raffle on this forum, and to John Chilese for permission to use his photos.

My hats off to Ron for supporting another kiting event!  Without his generosity, many a kiting event would have struggled to find funding.

Kudos,

Brian

I have signed up for 1 ticket.

Is there a way to use PayPal?

I'd rather not create another account if I don't have to. Thanks.

John,

If you'd like to use paypal, you can paypal to the Eastern League Paypal account manually, the paypal account is commissioner AT easternleague.net.  I'll make sure the payment gets forwarded to Robbie.  We originally had a Paypal button set up on the page, but Paypal doesn't want us to sell raffle tickets, even for donations, as it likens it to a lottery or gambling.  So, for now, we're using google checkout instead.

A few notes:  Well over half of these tickets are already sold, so if you're sitting on the fence, don't wait too long!  I wouldn't be at all surprised if this raffle is done by the end of the week.

Also - Ron is, indeed, the man, as are Will Sturdy and Robbie Boerth.  Does that make Ron merely one of "the men"?

After watching a few of RonG's weightlifting videos (WOW), I wouldn't want to tell him he isn't manly.  Huh

OK, trying to keep from spewing coffee on the keyboard after the "Shawn is pretty stable" comment...

BTW, there are only 5 4 3 tickets left... Huh

All sold out! It will take a couple days for checks to arrive via snail mail, and then I'll hold the drawing.
