One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Plan was to get some UN video but of course it is windy (and a bit chilly).  So ... anyone still planning on getting out to fly?

Wind has been blowing 30 to 40 over here the last few hours. It may be calming down though. Its only blowing 25 to 35 now.

Currently 14 with gusts to 20 according to the airport weather station.  Gusts were up to 30 overnight.

Might be a good day for some single lines and dragging around some tails.

Wind chill factor will decide if I make a day of it though....... Embarrassed

I'm planning around noonish after I do some end of the week/month stuff at work.

Doesn't look like we'll make it today. Orland Christmas Craft Faire (they have the best in the area over there) gotta' stimulate the economy ya' know ... like we haven't already  Cheesy

Probably have to decide on a Tree today too since next weekend is a trip to Sierraville for a soak in the Hot Springs and another Christmas Faire. They feed you and get you drunk up there, free booze and snacks at all the shops  Cool  they mix up some unique shooters, can't recall which was my favorite though so I guess I'll have to try them all again  Wink

We'll try and drive by at some point to see what's up

Noon it is then.  I'll double up on the thermals.  Might be able to drag Ted out too.   Of course Chris is sound asleep so if for no other reason I should get out of the house to keep from waking her.
