One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

Hi,
Would appreciate if someone cross-reference the following measurements

1) LS length. Seems like it's slightly longer than the FE
2) Center-center between 2 standoff connectors on the LS
3) Center of inner standoff to bigger end of LS.

I need to get mine to factory specs.
Cheers

NSE framing specs:

Spine 87.5cm
Upper spreader 51cm
Lower spreader 74.5cm  -  (Exactly 1cm longer than the NFE.)
Upper leading edge 64.5cm
Lower leading edge 83cm
Stand off int 26.5cm
Stand off ext 25.5cm

Standoff measurement is for carbon rod only. End cap and connector are not included. I am not where I can measure the standoff APA connector placement on the LS at present.

Hope that helps. Wink

Ha!

Not on the NSE but I do know most of the NFE measurements by heart. Built up and/or fixed quite a number of those in the various wind ranges. On those for the NSE, I just copy and pasted from an email from the man himself.  Wink Grin

It's late here now, but I have a brand new Icone NSE that I could use to get the remaining measurements.  I'll get onto it tomorrow for you.

Sorry for the delay, this one completely slipped my mind.

The centre of the fitting for the inner standoff is 31cm from the large end of the spreader.  The distance between the two standoff fittings, measured centre-to-centre, is 5.5cm.
