I just went to Blue Moon's site and saw that Ken's making Ichibans again! I gotta get me one of them! They are BEAUTIFUL kites!

What happened to the Reprise? I thought it was going to be the updated version of the Ichiban.

Good question. I like them both. I had asked Ken in a post last year about the Reprise and he wrote that he was too busy with the "bread and butter" kites. He also said that you never know what the future will bring so we can only hope.
Either way, I might like to see if I can swing an Ichiban this year. Maybe the 'boss' will let me use some of my job performance bonus towards a new SLK in May.

I went to Ken's site last week and saw that too. I had to double check just to make sure I was reading it right. A Ichiban would be good company for the Reprise. Oooooo, stacking an Ichiban, and the Reprise, now that would be cool. Ian

I picked up one last week. I could not pass up the new store discount and free shipping. The kite should arrive next week. Any tips from those who own one?

Have Steve get you a matching Streamer Tail or Penant from Gomberg, they compliment each other nicely.

Great idea. That was going to be my next purchase. Is there one you prefer over the other?

Get the 45ft pennant, it gives it a "fuller" look. It also helps settle the kite down if the winds are gusty.

There you go, thanks Ian.
I don't have an Ichiban myself, have just seen them with these tails and they go together nicely.
