One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Merry Christmas everyone. Here’s an early gift from me to you all…

Yesterday, I looked out of the window and noticed that the light rain was falling onto the snow on the ground, it was below freezing and the fog was lingering because there was no wind. Of course, the first thought to cross my mind was “let’s go kiting”!!! So I did, and it took the opportunity to give my Benson DeepSpaceUL an outing, for only the second time. The more I fly this kite, the more I like it. Despite being a true UL, it carries tremendous momentum through flat-spin moves and you can really hit it hard. Actually, flying in almost no wind at all opened up some interesting possibilities – notice the opening sequence where I break the first rule of kiting, and launch the kite upwind of me!

So here it is – I hope you like it, and that you all have a great Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.

Enjoy.

Kiting and videos sure do go together.  I really liked your editing.  What software are you using.  I just got Sony Movie Studio 9 and am working on some indoor vids right now.  You did some pretty effects.  I liked that multi axle to the ground.  That did come off nice.   That 360 you sure was fast.  I assume that was not fx  Cheesy.

Thanks guys, glad you liked it...

@johnfarl - I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 7.0, which I find a pretty decent package nicely positioned between the really basic editing software and the very expensive stuff like CS4. You can do some complex stuff with it, and get some nice effects with very little effort. As for the 360 (720 actually Wink) - yes that was speeded up a bit (x5)!
