Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

If you've been over to the BMK site lately, you've probably noticed a few additions and changes.  Just one of the new additions is a very nice gallery package that has a user upload feature. You can check it out here

Using the uploader requires that you register for our forum, which will give you access to several new and planned features.

Whether you decide to register over at BMK or not, I'd still like to feature your images of Blue Moon kites and flyers in the gallery!

While you're there, be sure to leave your mark on our map.

John, since you have so many images, if you'd like to register for the site, I'll make a bulk uploader available to you.  Let me know.

For display purposes, I'm limiting it to 800x600 max, but my gallery software will do that.

No, it would go in the custom/one-off category.
