One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I found this...
http://www.ocregister.com/articles/pier-222440-new-visitor.html

Scroll through the photos, you'll find it.

It looks a little dark in the new shop  Wink

I love the pic where it says the two ladies in the booth are helping a "customer". Not quite, that's ME and we're just shooting the breeze as we waited for the Mayor to speak. And the pick saying "Builder Mike Ali". Mike Ali is the owner of Zack's concession where Kite Party is. Gotta love that spot on journalism!

Indeed I do. The building actually turned out pretty awesome. Feels HUGE compared to what I had. BIG changes coming to the business this year. Lots of expansion, growth, etc. Still looking for that one PERFECT employee.....

the beach is full of figures  Tongue, many more than 6, working on the pier IS a vacation, so technically you'd get 12 months, so...when do you start?

If I can work from home, I might be able to squeeze in some hours. I'd need to be paid more than an on-sight person. The main perk, the beach view, sucks here over 200 miles from the beach!

Only 28 days for me. Is a Gerup longer than a normal 24 hour day?  Smiley

Details:

According to the official British translator - Big Bri -naps don't affect the gerup count.

30 was the countdown to the official KP start on Saturday.  Like with Greenwich Mean Time, you'll have to apply your own adjustment.  Mine is official start minus three!

Cheers,
Tom

So normally THIS would be the weekend for KP, and will be getting pounded with rain Saturday. So if we get good weather in a couple weeks, the move will have been a good one!
