Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

My DS UL came out of the bag for its first flight last Sunday.

Winds were 5-6mph, dropping down to about 2mph by the time the sun set.

Lookin' good.  Grin  I've got one on order and I nicked your colouring scheme, 'cept that I replaced the feature colour with grape to match my standard DS.

wow that is a nice looking kite, and knowing how sweet the standard flies, makes it even more enviable.

Perhaps I should have thought of that one, since my standard is grape.  Mmmmm. Embarrassed

Wasn't being totally serious.  I bought my standard second hand and never really warmed to the grape colour.  I think I probably tried the grape on the colouriser, but my shortlist was midnight blue or dark grey.  The blue won out, because it was a bit different; there are a number of grey variations out there.

I look forward to seeing what it looks like in grape.

Adrian,

Forgot to say I think you'll love the UL.  Mike Fogg converted a standard into a UL and it didn't come close to the real thing.

Can we look forward to Sleight of Hand IV?
