One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Perhaps waaaaaaaaaaaay to late but just last night I talked with my brother in law on the phone.
He mentioned that this weekend he was reading in a local Astoria Newpaper  that there is an INDOOR KITE FEST AT LONGBEACH WA.

Also mentioned that our long time good friends will be there?

WEATHER OUTSIDE FORCAST IS FOR HURRICANE WINDS TODAY  FOR THE LONGBEACH AREA. (Hummm? Maybe that forcast was for LongBeach Calif? Anyhoo...just heard that the winds were forcast for around 30+mph by another coastal forcast?

Frickin' awesome event... Missed it for the past couple years, and I'm glad to have made it back!

Really good performers in the NW, getting better and better every year, my wife and I both enjoyed it a lot.
