One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

The 5th Annual Kite Fest Louisiane' will be held at the West Baton Rouge parish Soccer complex next to Port Allen high School.

We will have:

I-Quad With John and Several other Flyers!!!

The Red Stick Kiters Club will be there with large inflatables and Dual and multi-line kites.

The Texas Cloud Chaser will be there giving Demos and Big Show kites.

Rok battles, Fighter Kite Demos,and fun fly!!!

The event is Free and a lot of fun! Food and Music Abound as this is of course South Louisiana!!!

This was a great event.  I went down for Saturday and had such a good time wound up spending the night to come back for Sunday.  Got to see iQuad preform, wow, and John spent a good bit of time teaching my son to fly a Rev. 

Cloud Chasers welcomed me and made me feel like family.

The Fest was a BLAST!!! Got some great Rev pointers and there are now at least 3 new Rev fliers in the area!!!

sounds like a great fest! I'll keep it in mind for next year since I'm just a state up (in AR), I would really like to see IQuad in action.
