Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I think that glass containers and alcohol are prohibited.  Last Saturday we were flying next to the pier.  There were some folks sitting on the beach eating and drinking beer from bottles.  A life guard drove up and made them empty the remaining bottles into a trash barrel.

Beach restrictions

Darin,

I got you on the Kite Party site, but you will have to do a write-in name tag (didn't bring the printer)

Got to the beach around 11:00am and the wind was howling, around noon Mike Kory, Tom and Jo Ann Clark, and the Stephenson's showed up at the Kite Shop, then the Fosters were on the beach flying so we all went down. I was flying a 6-stack of Hyper Kites, then a 9 - stack of Rainbow Stunt kites, everybody else were flying Rev's, Rich Comras was there flying and Jynx came down to to talk, I think her blood is thin from being in P.R. for two weeks.Another great day in HB

see ya soon
