Snow in the mountains all around us in Tucson, but I don't have to drive in it.

I expect you are/were being protected by a Canadian front.  That's the reason why we only got a light dusting on Saturday (while DC got hammered) that was pretty much gone by Sunday.  However, it's taking another pass at us on Wednesday and it supposed to get pretty messy by Wednesday night/Thursday morning.

i just got back from a long weekend in DC.....it was fricken amazing....stoopid capital of the US and they cannot get off their asses to plow.....
then i heard a great story:
a landscaping/plowing company has large contracts with DC, Maryland and Virginia...after the big storm in December DC never paid their bill...so the company said we are not coming.........that town is screwed........

did not see any vehicle accidents...just lots of stuck vehicles with people trying to move them who do not know how to deal with snow.....

and yes....10-20" of snow coming today....

Must... find... dog... harnesses...

... and sleigh.

Hmmm.... wonder if the year end pricing for sleigh bells is still good at the local feed store.  Undecided

How's the flying in Texas? Wide open spaces means unobstructed wind! And the weather is warmer than what we have up north.

I like snow when it's nearby, not on my head.
