One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

Hey jared
  Congrads on the  the first place buddy you rocked that ballet all the way. It was so much fun i never did it b4 so it was great to start. I might stick with rev flying lol and my team lol ahahaha

Saturday's weather was a bit questionable (hence only a few pictures), but Sunday was beautiful.

I'm using a Canon EOS 40D with a 100mm f/2 telephoto lens (given the crop factor on the 40D, it's an effective 160mm lens, I believe).  I love getting environmental portraits of kite fliers, especially when I can catch them unaware of the camera.  The longer telephoto means that I can stand well back and still get the shot.
