One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I once saw a video of a man flying a floaty kite by a river.  I think he had a young boy with him.  Nice mellow music.  Does anyone know what I'm talking about?  I cant seem to find the video now.

Thank you so much for the video, awe inspiring flying.  I am not sure if this is the one I remember, I think so, but it only played half way through.  My internet connection is spotty today.  The part I remember being really cool is him flying in no wind in a river or creek bed.  Looked like a little slice of heaven.  Mucho thanks again Sir.

I always like to see a designer flying his own kite. Especially in the case of Martin. Talk about being connected to a kite! The stuff in the woods is incredible, if only for the lack of foot space.

The only thing that I've seen come close to matching his patience outdoors is Steve.

I long to have that kind of control.............

Mr. Patterson has a touch with the Fearless that is second only to a very few............You should see him in person...........poetic......actually Wink
