CRAP! I stepped on and broke my 30' string today. Now I get to learn how to sleeve a line and equalize them. Not something I wanted to learn to do so quickly.
Don't worry about sleeving your line, at 50#, you really don't need it. Just cut off the sleeved loop at the end that broke (assuming the break is near the end). Do this to both lines, equalize the lines by staking down the other end and then marking both lines about 6-8" from the shortest lines end. Fold line on mark and tie. Do both lines with the same kind of knots to keep them equal. Now you have loops again, take the sleeved loops you cut off and larks head them to the freshly equalized lines.

Plus, I handed the reins of the Quantum to the wife and she slammed it into the ground three times.
Then, I slammed it into a tree twice.
If it's in your budget, get her a parafoil. My wife LOVES hers and she can't break it!
Not a good kite flying day but I was not at work...this is good!
The worst day flying is better than the best day at work... usually!
