Fearless Vented...and dissapointment...

Ha! That got your attention!

Over the last 2 weeks I have been giving my Fearless twins a small break, flying other nice dual lines, focussing on getting my % up for comete', comete cascades and multi yo yo based tricks.....    (oh and flying Revs too.).

Been having a nice time and slowly my comete % is increasing..

So tonight I went to the beach...low tide, no one around and a smooth 12 mph wind. Out came the Fearless vented with wind brakes on and using a 150lb 90 " lineset (I usually only use 90# but I wanted to slow the kite a little and get some help with slack....

Had a great fly, comete after comete, 4 and 5 in a row  (I barely missed one) multi wrap tricks time and time again.....inverses and slot machines...

Of course no video evidence as my flying skills are inversley proportional to the number of video cameras recording my flying :-)

Just goes to show how good the Fearless is (I thought).....

Although I have found one thing I don't like about the Fearless..that is that every other non-Fearless kite I fly is a small dissapointment...no matter how good it is...

But, you were flying in 12 mph wind with - a vented kite and wind breaks and 150 lb line? What are you going to do if the wind get to 18 or 20 mph? I have flown my vent fearless in 12 to 14 mph winds as if it were a standard kite.

Why all the extras to slow the kite down?

Well I wouldn't normally use them in that wind range - just thought I would try them and it all clicked.

In 18 or 20 mph winds Im flying vented Revs!
