I haven't been out since the first week in December. Has anyone been at LSP lately? Is there snow on the ground? Is it muddy? (I hate mud on my leading edges.)

Monday is forecasted to be high 40s and 8 mph from the south southwest. I'd think about it if the forecast stays that way. Very tempting.

You should go for it. Even if the field is muddy, it's still better to get a little dirty than to not fly at all. I was out on the beach on Long Island last Sunday, and it was quite pleasant. There was a little snow, but not enough to get in the way.
I am sure that you won't find any snow at LSP by next Monday.

I am taking next Week off... so let me know if you want to meet up. Wink

There is probably snow and mud.

Big woo.

Just leave the princess kites at home.

Or fly mine.

I don't care if my kites get muddy (except for maybe Two or Three..  Roll Eyes ).

Monday might not work. A couple more days of dry weather and sun might dry the ground out a bit. I'm thinking of Tuesday or Wednesday.

Best wind looks to be Monday. I'll be there.

Tuesday. I'll be there. Wind looks a bit light though.

I went to the soccer field near my office at lunch and it was BEAUTIFUL! It's warm and dry. I'm thinking that LSP will be good too.

I'm leaving work early on Tuesday and will be there about 1:45. Join us if you like! I have a real good feeling about it!

It was almost nuking out there today so I decided to stay local.

I don't know what the wind speed was at lunch but my Exile loved it. It was up and down but probably no higher than 11 and no less than 6 mph. The forecast of LSP looks real nice. The ground is usually drier by the play ground.

(I'm bringing my Transfers and the weight set I got from Steve. I'll mess around with the weights to see how it changes trickability.)

I'll see you there!
