Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

This years project will be a transition serpent kite led by Kevin Shannon. This is a fifty foot kite with a great visual impact.

The event will be held in the Camp Hill Borough Hall in Camp Hill, PA. Setup will be Friday night, 8/6 and the event will be 8/7 and 8/8

Paid registration of $40 before July 3 ($50 thereafter) gets you a materials list, kite details, lunch both days and unlimited instruction during the event.

Registration can be sent to:

Keystone Kiters Retreat
327 North Hanover St.
Carlisle, Pa 17013

Feel free to contact me at Rokkaku6@aol.com for additional information on hotels, directions, etc.

Check out their web site at http://keystonekiters.com/ for pictures and more information.  I've also asked Kevin if we can make this kite a wee bit bigger - perhaps 70 feet. He said he'll take a look and see if he can work it out!

I saw a finished version of the project kite this weekend. It's huge and looks great! I hope many of you can take advantage of this class in August!
