One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Regardless - it is a criminal shame that a company works hard in producing / refining / developing a brand new product for our industry and then gets hammered into oblivion before the product even gets out in the hands of the people the designers worked hard to build it for.  I can only see this type of behavior causing even more kite makers to throw their hands up in defeat rather than face the constant ridicule and banter that they get from doing what they love.  If you don't like it, don't buy it.  I think the kite looks fantastic and really don't care if it happens to be "close" to that of the Nirvana or any other dual line stunt kite out there!  After all, how much variation can you REALLY have when designing a dual line stunt kite?  With the thousands of kites and designs (panel layouts) that have been done over the last 20 or so years, it would be nearly impossible to build something today that wouldn't be similar to something done before - accidental or not.

I look forward to seeing/flying the new Toxic and hope that it and R-Sky continue to push the envelope in kite development and design.

Is it time for Kite Party yet?  I gotta get out of this office. Smiley

No matter what, R-Sky makes great looking kites. I've heard of the quality issues that some people may have had but I've got a full set of Nirvanas, Team Next Up, and a NFX Sport and they're all beautifully made kites. Even if I'm not able to fly them to the best of their ability, I'm keeping them because I love the panel layout and someday I WILL be able to fly them.

I like the Toxic but I'm not skilled enough to think about getting one.

A little thread pruning has taken place. Play nice or play elsewhere. That is all.
