One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Have quite a number of old school kiters coming in this year.  Steve Rogers is even packing up his personal kites to do some flying this year!

Hello Greg,
You will have to share a few pictures with all of us.  I hope the event went well.

I went. I flew.
The field is just beautiful.  Super big and flat. Just fantastic.  Friday was sunny and great wind in the afternoon.  Saturday was a rainy start but it ended early afternoon.  Lots of kites in the air.  Barbara Meyers but up lots of bikini lady wind socks and her big sleds.  Sunday she had tons and tons of line laundry up.
From snake rings to beach balls... super.  Got to fly the light wind stuff between the rain in the morning Saturday and then lots of ghosts and new pointer with Cat Gabrial in the afternoon.  Great winds on Sunday, flew my 11 ft tiger and 120' snake.   Great time.  Will be back next year. Grin
