One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

The spec. from Lam's SSD site said 4 miles or 6.4km.

I have a STD now and I'm itching to get a SUL. I like to fly my kite at light wind.

Any info. or experiences on the Fearless SUL is welcome.

On the SUL: 3mph with the tailweight & no walking, 2mph w/o the tailweight & no upper spreader & maybe a little walking.

That's pretty sad for an SUL. About equal to a std Exile.  Sad

The SUL goes way lower than the Exile standard.  Back when I still had it, I used to fly the Exile UL when my son flew the FSUL, they both required about the same amount of wind.  I can do sustainable 360s on mine even, so its pretty low.  I am, however, done trying to quote actual mph values.   I don't think you will find many other kites that will do all the tricks it does in such little wind - I haven't (but, then again, I have never flown a Ghost or a Sissy).

On the Standard, I agree with 4 for sweat-free flying.

I've tricked the standard in about 4.

The SUL will work down to zero if you have the motivation but it's not as floaty as other SULs. It gets old very quickly without wind though. I like the SUL in 1-3 after that I'll get something else out. It will work with a lot more but for me that is where it's sweet and I have other kites that I like in a bit more wind. If the wind is up and down, say 1-6, I'll keep the Fearless SUL out and it' all good.

On my Standard, I'm using 7pt lower spreaders. It's sluggish, until about 6-7mph.
