I only flown my kite 4 times from Dec. 2009 til now. Yesterday I flown my kite for 3 hrs. non-stop and it was fun. When I tried the Comete after an intense study on Tim Benson Comete tutorial the night before. I managed to get 6 inputs or 2 rotation. 

Here are a few Comete questions .
1. I know it is easier to do the Comete in 12 - 16km. wind. Can
    I do the Comete in weaker wind if compensate by walking
    backward ?
2. Is it true that the best location for doing the Comete is in the
    middle of the wind window ?
3. What is the best wind speed for doing Comete ?

I managed to get 6 inputs or 2 rotation. 

Six inputs is 1.5 rotations.

Yes.

Not necessarily.

3. What is the best wind speed for doing Comete ?

For me, with a standard wind kite, 5-8 mph. My favorite is with an SUL below 2mph.

I learned the Comete in slow motion on the Fearless SUL in about a 2 MPH wind with 3PT LS.....
