One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Here are a a couple of Fearless .png files that you can use for colorizering. They aren't an exact match because I drew them up for my own use. I wanted a general idea of how the different colors would look and it worked very well for me.

Just open in any paint program and use flood fill to color away. Have fun.

Peace

The images in my original post won't flood fill. Try these. The original images at the top of the page are fixed. Just copy and paste to a paint program and use flood fill to color.

If you save them as PNGs they won't have any compression artefacts around the edges and flood fill should work much better - especially if they're resampled to 2-bit first and then converted back to rgb. The file sizes will be much smaller too.

Thanks Roy,

This kind of caught me by surprise. I didn't realize all the extra compression was going to happen.  I'll resave them and put them up later. I actually had them saved in the default Paintshop & tiff format and they worked awesome.

PSD and TIF will work fine, but PNG will work just as well and make much smaller file sizes.

Of course you could always do them in Flash.

Thanks again Roy. I saved them as .png and they are working now. I'll let someone else do the Flash work.

Peace

Thanks, James. I have been playing with drawing Lam's kites so I could visualize how red & yellow would go together. I had given up until I saw your images. They work great now using MS Paint to pour in the colors.

I think I see a Fearless in red with yellow waves, black eyebrows & yellow eyes in my future.  Cheesy

Have fun with them Ray.
Come down to the Rogue Valley Windchasers fun fly @ Crescent City the first weekend of each month. There are usually several dual (Fearless too) fliers there.
