Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I see that there is a way to post pics.  But it says under 100K.  How do I dumb down my pic from 5Meg to 100K?  Does it do it automatically when I upload or do I need to modify first.

Jeez...I am asking all sorts of newbie questions!!!

hehe

That's the point of having somewhere to ask them! Wink

Most photo programs (and free photo hosting sites) will convert them, but since you are asking, I would recommend setting up an account on something like Photobucket, Flicker, etc...

Start there and if you have more questions let us know...

Well I wandered into the local kite store and very quickly realized that I was using SAIL material to patch this hole.  I bought better tape and DACRON and got through three days of flying without the spine poking through.  Yippie!
