One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

For no other reason than I'm so ^%#%$#%$# excited about this kite   Cheesy -  I thinned out my kite bag and saved up and FINALLY bought a custom Widow Maker.  I love this kite.  It's become my go-to kite for dual line.  First day I flew it was in winds 6-25mph.  It held its own, maintained a relatively light pull for most of the wind range, didn't ever get too fast, handled the big gusts just fine.  The build on this kite is really precise, can definitely see the love that was put into it (beyond craftsmanship).

Now I want the UL version.....  how to break to this my wife gently....    Grin

Nice snag!

Good luck with the wife! Mine really just doesn't know how much my kites cost and has thankfully stopped asking!! She is content to just fly one of the foils while I play in the bag...well, bags... Roll Eyes

LOL   That was part of the color scheme.  I wanted something a little different, and have always liked the Team Hawaiian.  I also wanted something with a "rasta" color pattern (for no other reason than I like the color pattern).  So this is my homage to the Team Hawiian and also the rasta color scheme I wanted.  Neat blend of old and new school, I think.

Thanks everyone for your comments.  Oh- iwannafly:  Your new Mantis looks AWESOME.  That's probably the prettiest Mantis I've ever seen.
