One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

@Rob, once you have them downloaded Adobe has a search function. John put some work into those PDF's, they are not just page scans and jpg files, the full text of the articles is included behind the jpg's, in some issues you can actually copy the text out, not all though for some reason. One of the issues can't be searched though because it has some sort of permissions problem, of course adobe won't tell you which one that is.

dang am i having fun going through the old mags!!!!!its a blast...

those black teal raspberry THF kites behind that RBK....i might have those specific kites in my hands.....picked up a bunch of kites from a retired Masters team flyer..
points to anyone who can tell me the team from the colors!!!!!

All those mags and the Drachen Foundation publications reside on all of my computers even though I have paper versions of them all, searching electronically is so much easier. I pull one up pretty often when I'm just sitting around in the van with no web connection. Sure wish John could work out the rights to American Kite & get that up too.

i found: RBK ~16'
           NBK ~8-9'
           NLK ~6.5"

I am putting those as ranges because the ones i have are all over the place...they are 20 year old kite so......but the original advertisement i found in SKQ was 8.5'
