One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

You see that black, red and grey Vtd over there on the right hand side of the screen in the JoE banner?

It's been a while, so thought I ought to go fly it. I've been flying straight lines (Hmmm..., OK straightish) and nailed on tricks (Hmmm... some more, sort of blue tacked on really) for a good while, and thought I'd get some freestylin' in.

It was grey and miserable and pretty colourless - hence the black and white - kind of disguises the winteriness. Winds were not too much for the STD, but I've not really done the VTD justice, so here's a few clips. Inputs were pretty much all over the place for the most part, what with not having flown the thing for ages and so transitions are a bit pants, put you'll get the idea.

Very good video. There were times watching you getting altitude that I thought you were flying an UL in low wind.  Wink

Nice filming and flying! I enjoyed seeing your inputs in the same frame as the kite. Hard to believe that the wind speed was 12-18. The Talon flew like it was 8 mph.

I really like the reversed spin out of the crazy copter, I'll have to try that. I have the Std. and the UL, got to save up for the vented to complete my set.

Damn, don't you just hate it when some smart-alec posts a video doing stuff that you haven't even done yourself, on your own kite. Bryan.....FFFFUUUUUUUUU......lol!

Thanks for that. There's loads to like in the Talons, but one stand out feature is the slip catches on the yo-yo stops (Roll-bar fittings) you still have to hit the inputs right, but wrapped moves are that bit more do-able.

LOL @ Mark, get out and fly more instead of spending all that time makin' stuff ;-)
(on TV as well ;-) )
