One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I thought that Machienes were only made for a select few...?

My understanding on the Machines were that Ron made them for himself for competition.  I don't think he ever intended to do it on an ongoing basis, but ended make some more along the way to support various events and the Eastern League as a whole (through auctions and raffles).

From the few times I have seen Ron fly, I expect the Machine is not averse to being spanked rather hard.... that just sounds so wrong. 

I expect Ron will amend any revisionist history I might have inadvertently thrown into the ring.

The Machine is not something you are likely to be able to get, unless Ron happens to make a full set to auction for some worthy cause.

And the price would be astronomical, assuming you won the auction.

Extrapolating from previous auctions: $3000.00+

The Saber review on the Kite Clique scares me when it says that it doesn't 540 well.

Guess I'll have to start saving my pennies.

There is a saber UL

The 540 issues were addressed when I updated it. The 'clique review was of the first version of the saber, not the saber II
