Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

It's a real blessing to fly with someone who can give you tips. Even if you can't, just getting out once in a while for as long as you're comfortable is a nice treat. I spent a lot of time trying to find a nice place to fly. I scouted out all kinds of places but the very best place for me is 60 miles away and a good hour and 40 minutes away.

It's worth the drive!

(I've yet to get to a festival because my wife and kids don't share my interest as much and I'm afraid that they'd get bored. My solution is to balance my flying time with family time.)

Eric did you make it down? I did get a chance to see you if so!

I have not talked to Curtis in a long time, not since the baby.

Kevin Wolf is still active and in that area, but a big SLK guy. The Baton Rouge RedStickKiters have pretty much absorbed any of the old LA. Fliers. especially the old crescent city fliers.

You Missed a Hell of a time for KFL.... some serious cutting up!!!
