One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Nope that one is not mine. No redheads in the family  Smiley  She is doing really well in school though and the myriad of extracurriculars she's involved in.

Kids certainly have to grow up fast these days.  We've had serious conversations (with the 11 year old as well) about college and what they have to do now to be prepared.  It really won't be long since she came home from the hospital just the other day.  Roll Eyes

Here's one from a few years ago...

I take it your son's friend was a little hard on the ears, sketch? Or was his name actually Earache.

Yes!
Eric was a REAL CHATTER BOX!!! That how my son Ryan put that name on Eric... EARACHE was really a fun lovin kid! His jokes always were a hit at school.
More than once both Eric and my son Ryan had to stay after school for some of their cut-up routines that disrupted his teachers lesson plans for the day... Cheesy Lips sealed

Fun story, thanks for sharing that and the pic.  A thread about favorite kids pictures with kites would be entertaining...

That sounds like a great idea for a NEW THREAD HEADING OF ITS OWN! (by the way....that was an awesome shot you posted of your young daughter sporting "kites for wings")

Wish I had taken more photos like those you have posted during those formative years of my two youngin's.

YES! LET'S KEEP THIS THREAD GOING...HUH?  Grin
