One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I agree, very cool idea. It's a tough design challenge to come up with a wingtip tensioner that doesn't frustrate people.  He needs to design that stuff for a typical kite flyer, not us super geek kite freaks. I'm sure he'd appreciate that someone noticed the dumb little plastic part with tons of thought and work behind it.

How much tension should be in the leading edge?  My caps were both different.  I adjusted them to a slight bow in the LE.

Mine had a slight bow of maybe 1 1/2-2 inches if you held the nose down on the ground. I will have to check it again as one side came loose while flying, at least the cap didn't come off!

You should get more lift with less leading edge tension.  Adjust it to the way you like best.
