One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I have an HP touchsmart that has suddenly stopped detecting the battery. I have tried the self help stuff from HP but still not seeing it. This is like only six weeks old. Any ideas other than dealing with HP Support  Cry

Cycle the notebook power and battery
   1. Turn off the notebook PC.
   2. Remove the AC adapter from the notebook.
   3. Remove the battery from the notebook PC.
   4. Reconnect the AC adapter to the notebook PC.
   5. Turn on the notebook PC.
   6. Wait until Windows has completely started and the desktop icons appear.
   7. Insert the battery into the notebook PC.

Windows will properly detect the battery and the battery should charge normally.
If this does not correct the problem choose one of the following options:

If the battery is older than one year see Purchasing a Replacement Battery
Battery is not older than one year contact HP for a battery replacement.
