Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Competitions run Friday-Saturday-Sunday.
John B's rev mass ascension thing at the South approach I think runs all week.

Cool single line stuff going on all week, with plenty of room left over to fly all day if you want.

Not sure this year, but traditionally there's been a sport kite comp in Ocean Shores the weekend before, so you could make an entire 9 days of kiting if you like.

Check http://kitefestival.com/

Careful though - you might never want to fly around town again after you've spent a day in a 5 MPH on-shore wind.

It's not "JB's mass ascension thing", whole lotta folks involved from multiple countries, but yes, it'll be going all week... Coming to a head on Thu/Fri/Sat. Wink
