One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

Nice looking stack!

I have one very old Speedwing and I've often thought if would make an interesting stack.

How old is that design now? I remember them in 1989 when Red at SkyRods - Jet Kite was carrying some of the smaller ones. They sure make a nice stack & seem to follow each other great with not a lot of wobble between them. Such a simple design too.

Its chikara silver - an aluminium coated Spinnaker Nylon.
If you like it at this lighting  conditions you should see that with the sunset reflections - it looks like this:

The video shows normaly Speedwings with an 82,5 cm landing edge, its the stack of a friend. Shape and bridle builded by the Handkerchief  plan with my sail design.

The 1 meter speedwings, as an 8 or 9 stack, are monsterkites with an explosive pull. You have always to be focused on them. Every wind gust can drag you down.
