One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

That is a good price with Win 7 - 64 bit.

But add $100 - $150 to remove Nortons and restore the system after unless you want to tackle that yourself  Embarrassed

Nortons doesn't let go easily, You gotta get Nortons uninstaller download, then research all the files its loaded, kill them in Task Manager-Processes, don't trust one time will do it they reload. Then it still causes problems many times. Pcdecrapifier just uses the included uninstaller. that doesn't do a good job. It is usefull to identify all the garbage but you should research those too, uninstalling those game things leaves the the usage loggers on to report back your usage to the company as does the Google toolbar often.

Creating a pure, bootable Windows disk from the recovery partition and downloading and including all the needed drivers is not an easy proposition for a novice user.

I've had sooo many bad experiences with Nortons from it's first anti-virus release through every computer I've seen it on I'm highly biased though. YMMV

I'm trying the Microsoft free anti virus on a couple of laptops, so far so good and seems to have a pretty small resource load. Always heard good about AVG but it really hit the resources on one of ours. I'd always been a McAfee proponent but the reviews are not as high as they once were so I've been looking at free alternatives.

Microsoft Security Essentials got pretty high ratings in the tests I looked at, this is a short read from this month "Best Free Antivirus Software".

One of the patches did some funky stuff and it was eating resources like pie! I haven't seen it happen since the patch afterwards...other than that it has been great, and free!
