Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I found the frame spec in the "other" (Prism) forum posted by the autor:

Lower Spreaders: SShark 5pt.(original DT18 also are good)

Spine: SShark P300( original fiber was a pretty hard) As I know now prism uses carbon only.

Leading edge: 5pt + 6mm aviasport.(original was 5mm aviasport)

HQ endcaps, tension line, 10g weight(inside P300), 3point bridle

I just wonder if the leading edges are a strange combination of 5PT (tapered) and 6mm Avia (cilindric) spars  Huh

Actually, the Hypnotist and the Quantum Pro are about as close to exact as could be in size and dimensions.  The frame listed above sounds very close to that of the Quantum Pro - so the user probably replaced the standard Graphite/fiberglass frame of the Hypno to that of the QP.  Once done, the only major difference between the two would be the sail material.  The QP is Icarex, the Hypno is ripstop nylon.  The QP would also have a nicer nose construction, better quality & covered leading edge material, and a leech line.

lots of kite had a frame like that....my Level one Keltic has exactly that....that is what PING's are for...they go into the wrapped rod and then the pultruded rod sticks out the other end

<pedantic mode>
Technically you would use PIN's (Plug IN) for Sky Shark's.  PING's are used for G-Force (Plug IN G-force).
