One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

This was shot Wednesday at Schoolcraft College in Michigan... Stan owns and operates this Big Puppy.  He also designed and crafted the 175 foot tails.  When asked why Huh Stan just said... " ...I had nothing to do that day...".  Stan is a brainiac from the Kites and Fun Things gang.

Stan has three four foot steel poles.  He dives them in the ground against each other on a angleand through a steel ring.  If the force of the kite is too strong.  The three poles tighten against each other and don't allow for problems...  Gromber kits teaches the technique.
