In April I sent out an email saying “Save The Date”. Now it’s time to start the reminders. This event is coming up in less than two months. The Richmond Washington Regional Sport Kite Competition will be held at Taylor Park in Ashland, VA on 18 September 2010. (Rain date 19 September). Mark your calendars. Remind new fliers that this is designed especially for them.
RWRSKC 2010 will offer individual dual- and multi-line precision and ballet events. New last year was the addition of Novice Multi-line Precision and Ballet!
RWRSKC 2010 will also offer a novice flying clinic for new fliers that will pair each novice with an experienced flier to teach basic precision skills, landings, maybe even some basic tricks! This will take place on Saturday morning, which will allow new competitors to sharpen their skills before competing. The web page for this event is part of the Richmond Air Force web site
