Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Well it's on my hard drive right now  Wink but you can snag a high-res .MP4 file from YouTube via various means and play it back with a stand alone player such as VLC, which is usually a lot better than straight off the YouTube site. The page for this video is here, rather than the funky wrapper site we were first directed to.

My preferred method is to load the video using FireFox then paste

javascript:window.location.href = 'http://youtube.com/get_video?video_id=' + swfArgs['video_id'] + "&fmt=18" + "&l=" + swfArgs['l'] + "&sk=" + swfArgs['sk'] + '&t=' + swfArgs['t'];

into the address bar. It should save a file video.mp4 to your regular download directory. In this case it's an 18.8MB 480x360 file. If the upload had been higher quality then you can replace &fmt=18 with &fmt=22 to get an even better quality file.

Depending on your browser and settings it could already be sitting in your cache with some weird name, just ready to be archived though.

I will always remember competing against these guys (1996-97).  They are great to watch and it is good to see them again.  This routine has some wonderfully creative moves in it.

Thanks for posting.

Great video, thanks for finding it!

By chance, does anyone have an on-line vid of Team Top of the Line's "Battle Hymn of the Republic" routine? I have it on vhs tape, but nothing on-line to share with others.

That was a cool routine, a lot of work and concentration for a six man team. Seeing that makes me want to
fly a on team again. Well, maybe not for competition, I had enough of that. But for fun.

Kitelife has many old vids of comp teams from the early days, not sure if that one is in their archives though. Members only now.
