One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I believe they are lines run between the leaders that keep the leaders from sliding down the LE when rolled up. Seen from above they would look like rungs on a ladder if the leaders are the uprights of the ladder. I don't have a picture, but if someone did it would all make sense...

The yoyo line is credited to Dave Morley, a Scratch Bunny, and is original fitment on the Fury range of kites. It's an easy add-on to any kite and you can have more than one for multiple wraps. You can use it on its own or as a security measure in addition to stoppers.

Advantages:-
easy to fit
no need to modify LE

Disadvantages:-
one wrap per rung
can snag and be a pig to unwrap
not as connected in flight when wrapped up

Here's a Cosmic TC retrofitted with two lines.

Roll bars are for sissys... Cool

Are you suggesting that Tim Benson, Andy Wardley, and Lars Fakkeldij aren't adequately skilled?  Roll Eyes
