One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

It means it's an all-arounder, a good mix of precision and tricks.  Usually refers to kites that are a good choice for competition - think Nirvana, Vendetta, etc.

OH! I always thought it was referring to the different planes that make up the sail structure... I guess that's what happens when you just assume... Roll Eyes

If I may be bold (and I may).... there is a slight change of intention from all-rounder to polyvalent.

Back in the day all-rounder meant good tricks for a precision kite, good precision for a trick kite. A mix of abilities was there but at both ends there was a certain lack. An Illusion or an Outer Space were great kites but you could do better at each extreme.

Polyvalent means good tricks, good precision without the need for caveats. The Nirvana, for instance, has been used to win pure trick and pure precision competitions and makes a convincing case for each style.

Polyvalent is all-rounder with knobs on.

We'll leave that decision to The Community™ as they know best Wink

I've seen it trick all the way to 11, I don't recall seeing much in the way of figures.

Just out of curiosity, how many people are winning, or competing with the Fearless?

Lambo never won any races in the past 20 or even 30 years but peoples considering them as the 'super car of the super car'.  Cheesy

First things first.

Given such a minuscule population, the subset is probably meaningless.

Exactly, a Lambo is fast, looks "Trick", gets 12 miles to the gallon, can not corner as good as a Ferrari, and is very expensive.

...and yes, to the non racer/competitor they are the super car of the super car.

Get my drift?

It is not only looks trick. In reality it is very tricky. It can do nearly everythings. The limit is the flyer. I'm glad I found it when I'm only 4 months old. I mean my stunt kite flying age.  Smiley

Have you flied one lately ?  Wink

Before you changed your post I was going to say,

Yessir, I "helped" Lam check the "Structural integrity" of the Fearless and 3/4 Fearless prototype in the "Upper range"

"Helped"-Flew the s#!t out of...
"Structural integrity"-...the kite until I busted both sets of LS's...
"Upper range"-12-14mph, gusts maybe in 18
