One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet. A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites. Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal. 1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

From surfing around after reading this thread, the newer KSO Trek version is made from 'roo leather.

There is a store that carries these things here.

Might go down and check 'em out.

Looking at a pair of the KSO myself, looks like good kite field wear for my style.

I have three pair of Fivefingers and wear them a LOT!!

WARNING: KSO which stands for Keeps Stuff Out do NOT keep out sand and they are HORRIBLE on the beach.

On the other hand, Classics have a bungee around the top that you can tighten up and are the best ones I have for keeping out sand.
