Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Maybe we'd stand more chance of getting kiting accepted as an Olympic sport if we all flied Fearlesses ?

It should be 'flown' not 'flied'.   Smiley

Correction...all you English MAJORS    Wink  The proper term would be FLEW Fearless.  Using the proper Latin plural I believe that more than one Fearless would be termed Fearlae, which I also believe is feminine.....We could then infer, IMHO, that more than one fella in a group flying Fearlae would be a group of f******s  Undecided.......I mean sissys.............this is much more important than Fearless bashing I believe.

I don't understand your churlishness in regards to the Fearless. With your long involvement in kiting, you surely are aware that their has always been overly enthusiastic fans of kites or makers.

Yes.

or No.

I think we need to put cids front and center of our presentation to the IOC.  Sounds like we've finally found our savior.

Olympic sport...dont think so. However, the common thought of most people when you tell them you fly kites is "what are you 10?" or sometime worse Sad They all seem to think its all single line stuff. When they finally see you in action, their words change completely. "how do the strings not get tangled", "holy crap! thats awesome" etc. Just need alittle more of the RIGHT exposure.
